The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a contractor to repair and reconfigure a barge to a conveyor barge. Work will include (but is not limited to): transporting vessel to dry dock, installing spud wells, fabricating spuds, installing two upright winches and a generator, installing port and starboard side fenders, water blasting and repainting exterior hull, installing new manhole covers and rings, and adding anodes to hull. Vessel is a Government-owned barge, 150 ft in length, 35 ft at beam, with a 6 ft molded draft. Contractor is responsible for transport of vessel from, and return to Lock & Dam 7. All work shall be completed by 1 April 2022. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
