The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a contractor to provide Woody Invasive Plant (primarily Buckthorn) control and Tree/Shrub planting at Lake Rebecca Park along the Upper Mississippi River in Hastings, Minnesota. The contractor will conduct a multi-year woody invasive (primarily common buckthorn) mechanical and chemical treatment and a tree/shrub planting project on four treatment areas totaling approximately 48.8 acres on US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) owned land in Hastings, MN. The contract will be awarded as a base year plus two option years. The contractor will be procuring and planting 13,340 tree and shrub seedlings. Seedlings not planted in the Fall will be maintained in winter storage until Spring planting. Cold storage plans are required with the quote. Seedlings will be treated with deer repellant after planting. The following must be submitted with the quote: Pricing schedule Cold storage plan Certified applicator list, with copies of certification credentials Herbicide plan Contractors are strongly encouraged to inspect/view the sites where the work will be performed before quoting.
