The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District (MVP) has a requirement for a contractor to supply and provide all equipment, labor, supervision, and materials to remove the existing roof and replace it with a green, minimum 28-gauge commercial grade steel roof system on a picnic shelter in the Cross Lake Recreation Area. The picnic shelter is located between the USACE Cross Lake Office and the Pine River Dam at the campground in the city of Crosslake, MN (Crow Wing County). All work shall conform to local, county, and State laws and codes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238160; Roofing Contractors with a size standard of $16.5M. The estimated magnitude of construction is less than $25,000. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. This synopsis is not a request for quotes (RFQ), proposals (RFP), or in an invitation for bids (IFB). This is a pre-solicitation notice indicating that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price Purchase Order is intended to be issued via Contract Opportunities at beta.SAM.gov (formerly FedBizOpps/FBO.gov) in the near future. The specifications will be detailed in the solicitation once issued.
