The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a contractor to manufacture and supply spare parts for the main pump for the Dredge Goetz. The Dredge Goetz is a 20" cutter head suction dredge that maintains the navigation channel on the Mississippi river. The primary material dredged is sand with occasional rocks. In a typical dredging season the Goetz pumps between 750,000 and 1,000,000 cubic yards of sand. The Government does not have access to the Vosta drawings for these parts but new parts are available at the Fountain City location. Interested vendors can make arrangement for a site visit to look at the parts we have on hand but it would be at their own expense. After contract award the vendor will be allowed to transport the new parts to their facility to be reverse engineered/duplicated. OFFEROR SHALL BE REGISTERED IN SAM (System for Award Management) https://www.sam.gov to include the FAR and DFARS Reps and Certs sections with the NAICS code applicable to the solicitation. AMENDMENT 0001 has been added to the solicitation. Amendment 0001 extends the solicitation close date to 10 MAR 2021.
