The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all storage buildings, material, equipment, supplies, labor, and transportation to perform all work at the frequency as required by this contract. Work is required seven (7) days a week and shall take place between 7am and 7pm. Work consists of cleaning and sanitary services for the comfort station and privies, as well as garbage and litter collection, and other miscellaneous cleaning and maintenance services. Blackhawk Park is approximately 75 acres managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers offering both day use and overnight camping facilities. It is located approximately 30 miles south of La Crosse, WI and three (3) miles north of De Soto, WI. Attachment D “Park Map” shows the location of facilities within the park. There are 175 campsites and total visitation averages 130,000 per year.
