The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a contractor to inspect and rebuild a large hydraulic cylinder from Lock and Dam #1, Minneapolis, MN. The contractor shall inspect and rebuild one (1) 12’ hydraulic cylinder that is used to operate the miter gates on Lock and Dam 1 in Minneapolis, MN. The hydraulic cylinder that is in need or repair/overhaul is defined as a Parker-Hannifin Series 2H, Style C. It has a 12’ bore, 8" rod diameter and 8’ 8" stroke length. The cylinder was operational when removed from the primary # 2 miter gate in the Fall of 2020. The repaired cylinder shall be delivered on or before 01 March, 2021. OFFEROR SHALL BE REGISTERED IN SAM (System for Award Management) https://www.sam.gov to include the FAR and DFARS Representations and Certifications (Reps & Certs) sections with the NAICS code applicable to the solicitation.
