The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a contractor to perform repair services on a Government-owned Caterpillar D7R dozer, located at the USACE Service Base at Fountain City, Wisconsin. The contractor shall transport the dozer from Fountain City to the repair facility, and return the dozer when repairs are completed, no later than 1 March 2021. All repairs shall be made with new and genuine original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts (i.e. Caterpillar). All work shall be performed by a Caterpillar OEM Certified Repair Facility or by Caterpillar certified technicians. The following repairs shall be performed: ? Undercarriage Rebuild ? Equalizer Bar ? 1,000 Hour Service Any additional repairs identified during the inspection/repairs must be approved in writing by the Contracting Officer prior to work performance. The D7R Caterpillar Dozer will be available for pick-up after January 4, 2021 and must be picked up within five (5) business days after contract award. All work shall be completed, and the D7R Caterpillar Dozer returned to the Government’s Facility no later than March 1, 2021.
