The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District seeks a contractor to provide snow and ice removal services (i.e. plowing and salt/sand application) of the access roads to the Eau Galle Dam Recreation Area, near Spring Valley, Wisconsin. The Eau Galle Recreation Area is located north of Spring Valley, WI, approximately 50 miles east of the Twin Cities and 40 miles west of Eau Claire WI. The Contractor shall provide all labor, scheduling, management/supervision, tools, equipment, supplies, travel, vehicles, fuel, and any fuel charges/surcharges necessary to ensure Eau Galle Dam Road and corresponding roads are snow plowed and/or sanded/salted in a manner that will maintain safe and accessible roadways for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) employees and the public. The access road to Eau Galle Recreation Area is a 2 lane road, approximately 2.4 miles in length. The road includes steep inclines and curves. Contractor vehicles must be able to handle these road conditions (i.e. a standard pickup truck is insufficient). Contractors are encouraged to inspect the site (road) before submitting quote. This contract will be for a base year (Feb 15 - May 15, 2021) and four Option years (Nov 15 - May 15 of subsequent winters). Offeror will quote a per use price (price per snow plowing and sanding/salting), and will be paid based on the actual usage required for the season. OFFEROR SHALL BE REGISTERED IN SAM (System for Award Management) https://www.sam.gov to include the FAR and DFARS Reps and Certs sections with the NAICS code applicable to the solicitation. Quotes received after the solicitation close time and date will not be considered for award. This solicitation is now UNRESTRICTED. Entities of any size may submit offers.
