Options for placement for vertical concrete repair l... The work shall consist of the concrete being supplied for Lock 4 Winter Maintenance. The placement area includes the downstream bulkhead sill beam. Options for placement for vertical concrete repair located on the Land and Intermediate wall inside the lock chamber are included. The quote shall provide for all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for this work. 56 CY of concrete shall be supplied and placed by method of pumping (up to 8 hours of on-site pumping in accordance with paragraph 6 of scope of work) for the downstream bulkhead sill beam. Placement can begin any time after submittal approval and shall be completed by 12 March 2021. As options, the Government may require up to 7 additional deliveries/placement of up to 10 cubic yards (CY) of concrete per placement. The option deliveries may require the use of a pump truck, at the request of the government (up to 6 hours of on-site pumping in accordance with paragraph 6). The use of the pump truck is included in 2 options of 21 hours each. Should the pump truck be required with the additional concrete delivery/deliveries, the Government will exercise the option at that time. And, the contractor shall only charge the government for the actual hours the pump truck is utilized to place concrete. The Government shall notify the contractor a minimum of 2 business days prior to the need for the additional concrete delivery. Pricing for the option CLINs shall include the price for delivery and method of placement (Pump Truck when requested) of up to 10 CY of the approved concrete mix. The options may be exercised any time prior to 1 March 2021 for completion no later than 12 March 2021.
