The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District seeks a contractor to supply one (1) remanufactured Cummins 6CTA 8.3 T2 Engine, rated at 270 Horsepower @ 1800 RPM with a continuous / uninterrupted rating, delivered to Fountain City, Wisconsin within one month of contract award. The engine will replace an engine being used to power a tow boat. The Government will not return the core of the engine being replaced. This request for quotes (RFQ) is for one (Name Brand) Cummins 6CTA 8.3 T2 engine – zero hour, remanufactured. This engine will be replacing a unit of the same type. Please do NOT submit quotes/offers for any other type of engine. Freight and/or Shipping & Handling charges shall be included in the unit price for the engine. Please do not quote freight charges separately. OFFEROR SHALL BE REGISTERED IN SAM (System for Award Management) https://www.sam.gov to include the FAR and DFARS Reps and Certs sections with the NAICS code applicable to the solicitation.
