Work will include obtaining performance & payment bonds, and repairing bent flange members through heat straightening. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 238120, Structural Steel and Precast Concrete Contractors. The size standard for this NAICS is $16,500,000. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Contractor shall have conducted at least five (5) heat straightening projects in the last five (5) years. The personnel conducting the heat straightening must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience on heat straightening projects. OFFEROR SHALL BE REGISTERED IN SAM (System for Award Management) https://www.sam.gov to include the FAR and DFARS Reps and Certs sections with the NAICS code applicable to the solicitation.
