The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District (MVP) has a requirement for septic pumping services at the following 3 recreation areas in Minnesota: Sandy Lake Recreation Area, Pokegama Recreation Area and the Winnibigoshish Recreation Area. Sandy Lake Recreation Area is located 12 miles north of McGregor, Minnesota off of State Highway 65. The Pokegama Recreation Area is located 2 miles west of Grand Rapids, MN on State Highway 2. The Winnie Recreation Area is located 15 miles northwest of Deer River, MN off of County Road 9. The Pokegama and Winnie recreation areas are both in Itasca County, MN. Sandy is in Aitkin County. The Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, fuel and equipment to perform sanitary pumping services at the aforementioned locations. Pumping shall be performed between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, 7 days a week as necessary. This contract consists of a base period and 4 one year option periods for each recreation site. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 562991; Septic Tank and Related Services with a size standard of $8M. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. This synopsis is not a request for quotes (RFQ), proposals (RFP), or in an invitation for bids (IFB). This is a pre-solicitation notice indicating that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via Contract Opportunities at beta.SAM.gov (formerly FedBizOpps/FBO.gov) in the near future. The specifications will be detailed in the solicitation once issued. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Quotes will be due approximately 14 days from the date the solicitation is issued, however, the 14 day time frame is an estimate and subject to change. The definitive solicitation closing due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued. No CD's or hard copies will be available. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM).
