The price for this unit shall include delivery, setup, test run and operational training. 2.) Delivery date of the compressors shall be on or before 12 November 2020 and tentative pick up date 16 April 2021. Hours for delivery and pick-up must be between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. No deliveries will be received on holidays or weekends. 3.) Upon delivery to Fountain City Service Base, contractor must test run the air compressor. The equipment shall be inspected with USACE personnel and contractor to verify the condition of the equipment before it is in the possession of USACE. In addition, the contractor must conduct operational training to the Lock and Dam 4 Dewatering Project personnel. 4.) The compressor units must have a block heater system to be able to operate in the cold temperatures. Glow plug system cannot be the sole cold weather starting aid, and cannot be a substitute to a block heater. 5.) The compressor units shall have single point pick for lifting with load handling equipment (cranes). 6.) The Contractor shall quote a weekly rate for the Compressor and include the cost for transportation of the compressors to and from the job site. Any routine maintenance that would need to be performed during the rental period should also be included in the rental rate. 7.) One compressor will run an average of 10 hours per day. The second compressor will not normally be run. The second compressor will serve as a back up to the first compressor. The contractor must provide 24 hour service support and be able to respond within three hours of a reported problem. This compressor will be used on the night shift so the reported problem would likely happen between 10:00 PM and 06:00 AM.
