The purpose of this contract is to provide a telehandler with a minimum of a 10,000 lb carry capacity and a 40’ lift height. The telehandler must be equipped with stabilizers, an enclosed cab and heat. The contractor shall quote a weekly rate for the telehandler and include the cost for transportation of the telehandler to and from the jobsite, on- and off-loading, as well as any required routine maintenance during the rental period. Vendor shall provide the customer service needed to support this equipment in the event of a breakdown during the contracted rental period. Within 24-hours of being notified by the Government of an equipment breakdown, the vendor shall either repair or replace the nonfunctioning equipment. The telehandler shall be less than 2 years old at the start of the job. Delivery date of the telehandler shall be on or before 12 November 2020 and tentative pick up date 16 April 2021. Hours for delivery and pick-up must be between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. No deliveries will be received on holidays or weekends. Upon delivery to the Fountain City Service Base, contractor must test run the telehandler. Upon delivery of the telehandler, the telehandler shall be inspected with USACE personnel and contractor to verify the condition of the telehandler before it is in the possession of USACE.
