(see scope of work for list of part numbers needed)MVP’s Project Management (PM) request the award of a contract for multiple purchases over the course of three years for up to four separate purchases of transmitters (tags) of various sizes that must be compatible and can communicate with receiver arrays already deployed in other waters in the state, including downstream on the Mississippi River. In coordination with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MNDNR), MVP is currently conducting fish movement in the Big Sandy Lake watershed. The MNDNR currently utilizes VEMCO receivers (models VR2W and VR2Tx) and VEMCO acoustic tags in place and the new transmitters need to be compatible with existing receiver arrays already in place in state waters and for similar projects in the future to track existing fish tags. VEMCO has verified compatibility of tags. This contract is for the supply of compatible fish tags for the study.
