Physical Support Branch, Dredge Goetz, request the award of a contract for the purchase of a new cutterhead for the Dredge Goetz. The Dredge Goetz is currently conducting dredging operations at river mile 756 near Alma, WI . As a hydraulic cutter-head dredge, the cutterhead is critical to the operation of the dredge, for the removal of slurry to another location, while advancing forward through the cut. Due to the normal cutterhead wear over years of use and the need to keep dredging to continue support the nine foot navigational project. This contract is for the supply of new cutterhead for the Dredge support and its mission. The contractor shall supply 1 (one) complete cutterhead with replaceable edges installed and in addition shall also supply 1 (one) complete set of spare edges that meet the following specifications: Cutterhead: Quantity: 1 (one) Direct replacement for VOSTA SC10 Cutters Smooth edge cutter with replaceable weld on edges With edges installed 5 Blade 1455mm ID backing ring 465mm backing ring to thread start dimension Hub with 284mm OD double lead RH thread Edges made from Hardox 500 plate Universal blade design for option to add T0 or T1 adapters and teeth See attached drawing for more size requirements Edges: 1 (one) complete edge replacement set for supplied cutterhead DELIVERY SHALL BE NO LATER THAN 30 NOVEMBER 2020
