The following is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul, Minnesota District has a requirement for the rental of a minimum 75 ton Rough Terrain Hydraulic Crane. The crane shall have a minimum Boom Length of 100’; Jib would not be needed but is acceptable. The crane shall be capable of lifting 15,000 lbs at a radius of 50’ with out-riggers fully extended. The cab of the 75 ton Rough Terrain crane must be able to mechanically move to an angle of 20 degrees for increased visibility of the boom load. Delivery date of the crane shall be on or around 12 November 2020 and tentative pick up date of 16 April 2021. The deliver and pick up location will be the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fountain City Service Base; 431 North Shore Drive; Fountain City, WI 54629. The resulting contract shall be a Firm, Fixed-Price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 532412, Construction, Mining and Forestry Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing. The SBA size standard for this NAICS is $35.0 Million. This solicitation shall be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation will be a Request for Quotes (RFQ) This synopsis is not a request for quotes, proposals or bids. This is a notice that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via Contract Opportunities (https://beta.sam.gov/search?index=opp) in the near future. The specifications will be detailed in the solicitation.
