The St. Paul District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has a requirement for steel alloy link chain to replace existing tainter gate hoist chains. A total of 30 chain assemblies of varying sizes and configurations are required. The 30 individual chains shall be of standard commercial quality manufactured as non-calibrated chain. Master links and fabricated gate connection hardware shall be provided as shown for each chain. The existing tainter gate and machinery design parameters dictate strict compliance to the size and strength requirements of the welded steel alloy link chain described in the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 332618; Other Fabricated Wire Product Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. This synopsis is not a request for bids, quotes or proposals. This is a notice that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via BetaSam (beta.SAM.gov) in the near future.
