The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District seeks a contractor to replace three existing fuel oil burning furnaces at the Mississippi River Project Office, Fountain City, Wisconsin. The contractor shall replace existing furnaces with High Efficiency Liquid Propane furnaces. Current furnaces are old and the dampers don’t work properly causing them to run very inefficiently. Project will include installation of a new gas line and 3 new furnaces. The contractor shall supply all equipment, labor and materials necessary to perform contract, which includes, but is not limited to: replacing three fuel oil furnaces with High Efficiency Liquid Propane furnaces, supplying and installing a gas line to an existing LP tank, removing asphalt and trenching an underground gas line, removal and disposal of three furnaces and fuel oil supply line, supplying and installing High Efficiency LPG furnaces, modifying ducting; supplying and installing all condensate drains, dampers, exhaust piping, gas regulators and gas lines required; and patching asphalt. The Mississippi River Project Office is a two story building, with approximately 8,000 SF of space. The building is located at 431 North Shore Drive; Fountain City, WI 54629 in Buffalo County. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this project is 238220, Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors with an SBA Size Standard of $16,500,000. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000.
