This project requires the installation of an impervious fill cofferdam and associated scour protection located on the upstream side of the Chippew a River Diversion Structure to facilitate repairs to the structure, the monitoring and maintenance of the cofferdam during the period in w hich it is in place, the removal and proper offsite disposal of cofferdam material after the repairs to the structure area complete, and restoration of the site as needed after work is complete. A Government crew w ill facilitate repairs to the structure itself.
