The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a contractor to make repairs to asphalt surfaces in parking lots and access roads at Lock & Dam # 8 (Genoa, WI) and Lock & Dam # 9 (Eastman, WI). Work will include obtaining payment bonds, repairing type 1 and type 2 cracks, applying seal coat, asphalt patching, asphalt removal, cold milling, asphalt overlay, asphalt replacement, pavement markings, installing utility collars, and installing aggregate and riprap. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 237310; Highway, Street & Briidge Construction, with a small business size standard of $39,500,000. This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation. Bid bonds will be required. SAM REGISTRATION. All bidders must register and complete online representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov prior to the bid opening. Bidders that have not registered or completed their online representations and certifications may be rejected. Bidders are advised that the initial SAM registration process may take several weeks. The Government will review completed Representations and Certifications in SAM following the bid opening.
