Physical Support Branch, Dredge Goetz, request the award of a contract for the purchase of 60,000 gallons of #2 dyed off-road diesel fuel (NO BIO-DIESEL). The Dredge Goetz fleet will be operating in Buffalo, Iowa starting September 25, 2019. This contract is to supply fuel for the Dredge Goetz and its supporting equipment via mid-stream fueling. Scope of Work Purchase of 60,000 gallons of #2 off-road diesel fuel via mid-stream fueling at Buffalo, IA. Delivery will have to be coordinated with the on-site supervisor Jon Miller: 651-769-3801. Fuel delivery will be September 25, 2019 at Buffalo, Iowa. The entire delivery will be only transferred during the hours of 0001 – 2400 on the aforementioned date. The fuel will be pumped onboard a floating barge capable of holding 70,000 gallons of fuel. The fuel hose connection are 3” cam-lock fitting. The USACE will have 3” adapter fitting if required. The fuel barge is owned and operated by the USACE and annually inspected by the United States Coast Guard. The USACE fuel barge will be manned and controlled by two Government employees during transfer.
