The US Army Corps of Engineers will be posting a solicitation soon for a contractor to provide all equipment, labor, supervision, and materials necessary to construct a concrete stairway and associated footings. The length of the stairway is approximately 31 feet and the elevation is approximately 8ft. 10 in. The proposed concrete stair is located on the west side of the Lac Qui Parle Dam off County Highway 33 in Montevideo, MN 56265. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Lac Qui Parle Dam Recreation Area is located northwest of Watson, Minnesota on 1st Street West, along Chippewa County Highway 13.
