The following is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul, Minnesota District has a requirement for Mechanical Dredging Services on the Mississippi river at Boulanger Bend near Hastings, Minnesota. Work will consist of, but not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, material, and equipment necessary for dredging and transporting dredging material to a designated placement site. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, Dredging with a size standard of $27.5 Million. This shall be solicited Unrestricted (Full and Open). The solicitation will be a Request for Quotes (RFQ) This synopsis is not a request for quotes, proposals or bids. This is a notice that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future. The specifications will be detailed in the solicitation. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The solicitation due date is an estimate, stated for planning purposes only. The definitive quote due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued.
