Inactive Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

The Contractor shall drill a new 6 inch PVC well within 15 feet of the old well on the west northwest side of the pump house in the lawn. The new well shall have a 3 horse power pump, a 230 volt well ... The Contractor shall drill a new 6 inch PVC well within 15 feet of the old well on the west northwest side of the pump house in the lawn. The new well shall have a 3 horse power pump, a 230 volt well regulator/control box and pressure switch, 2 inch rigid water line down the well, 2 inch 200/lb. poly water line from the new well into the pump house, 8 inch by 15 foot stainless steel well screen, new wiring from the well to the new regulator/controls inside the pump house. The Contractor is responsible for connecting the new well to the existing 2 inch copper water line inside the pump house. The existing well water supply system utilizes a Standard Pressure System. The new waterline from the well shall enter through the floor of the pump house. The Contractor shall abandon the old 8 inch steel well according to state codes and the following specifications. The existing well is located in the southwest corner inside the pump house. There is a skylight in the roof for access directly above the well. The contractor shall remove the discharge spool and well pump and cut off the steel well casing flush with the concrete floor. The well shall be filled with bentonite or another approved material used for sealing abandoned wells according to the state well abandonment code. The electrical controls and wiring on the inside of the pump house that were used with the old well shall also be removed so that the new electrical controls and wiring can be installed in the same general location. The Contractor shall provide and install a new Dry Barrel Hydrant with Drain Valve, water supply pipe, fittings, shut off valve, with all necessary components, parts, and provide all locates, equipment, digging, trenching, labor, etc. to install a New, Year-Round, Red, Frost Proof, Fire Hydrant with 3-Outlets (of which one must be 4-1/2” and two must be 2-1/2”), that is well suited and designed for the new well specified in this contract in the following location: East approximately 25 feet from Pump House, and West approximately 35 feet from the Main Boat Ramp Parking Lot (see attachments for map of Parking Lot that’s located East of the Pump House).
