The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District (MVP) will be or have conducted soil borings for the Montevideo and Bass Ponds Projects. During soil exploration, MVP will collect disturbed jar samples and undisturbed tube samples (3 to 5?inch samples) for laboratory testing. The contractor shall perform the following laboratory soil tests. The table lists the type of tests, the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) procedure associated with each test, and the number of test. The laboratory shall be a USACE validated lab for the tests required. The laboratory shall be capable of running triaxial compression tests on samples up to 4?inches in diameter. PER Scope of Work
