The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District seeks a contractor to supply one Bulldozer without operator for the period between June 3 and August 9, 2019. The dozer shall be a Caterpillar D6T or equal, with the following characteristics: - Horsepower: 205 - 215 HP - Operating Weight: less than 55,000 lbs (due to deck loading on barges) - Semi-Universal Blade - Minimum of 22" track pads Please include information (e.g. a spec sheet) with your quote on the make and model of the bulldozer you are offering for rental. The dozer will be delivered to the Alma (WI) Placement Site, where it will be used to maintain the placement piles of dredged materials. The dozer will be picked up from the Corp's Fountain City (WI) Service Base on or after August 9, 2019. The Government will perform the following routine maintenance procedures every 250 operating hours: change oil & filter; inspection & cleaning of air filter. Unless proven to be a direct result of intentional misuse or gross negligence of the Government, the Contractor shall be responsible for all costs associated with service and repair of the generator, except for oil and filter changes performed by the Government. The Contractor shall ensure that within 72 hours of being notified of an equipment breakdown, the equipment shall be repaired or replacement equipment provided at no additional cost to the Government. It is anticipated that this equipment will be used for less than 1,000 operating hours during the rental period. Please provide a per operating hour rate for equipment usage exceeding this amount. If there are no additional charges for the hours, please note this. This solicitation is Set Aside 100% for small businesses.
