This is not a request for quotes. General Description- The contractor shall supply all equipment, labor and materials necessary to remove and properly dispose of all the existing, florescent lighting and replace with new LED lighting in accordance with the future solicitation specifications and the local building codes. The property has one main office building with heated shop and a vehicle bay, a dam control/wash bay/wood shop building, and a Morton building. The number of lights needing replacement will be identified in the scope of work. Planned Site Visit- Vendors will be afforded one site-visit prior to quote submission. Vendors will meet at the site location identified in the upcoming solicitation along with the time. The site visit is not required to submit quotes. All questions and answers at the site visit will be posted with a solicitation amendment. Projected Solicitation Posting- The projected date for solicitation posting is tentatively scheduled for March 19th, 2019 with evaluation of quotes taking place March 29th - April 1st. Schedule- The period of performance will be from May 1st - September 30th, 2019. All work must be complete by September 30th, 2019. Work Plan and Inspection- Contractor shall submit a plan that details the sequence and scheduling of the proposed work. The work plan shall be submitted within 30 days of contract award and discussed and approved at the pre-work meeting. All work shall be coordinated with the designated Contracting Officers Representative and shall comply with local, state and federal codes. Work will be inspected for conformance within the specifications for timeliness, safety and overall completion. The contractor shall be responsible for removal and disposal of all construction debris according to all local and state codes.
