The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for security systems for three ranger offices located in Federal Dam, MN; Grand Rapids, MN; and McGregor, MN. This Sources Sought announcement is to see who is available to support this requirement and if the equipment can be installed and service can begin by the end of September, 2019. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, incidentals, software, hardware, components, supervision and transportation for work necessary to supply and install a fully functional security system and provide monitoring services. The required security system consists of security equipment that monitors the building(s) for motion, temperature variances, and provides both audible and telephone notifications. The monitoring services shall provide 24/7 monitoring services. DELIVERABLES The security system(s) shall meet the following minimum requirements: •Fire/smoke detector (Honeywell 5809 Series or equivalent: Characteristics: •Low temperature alert •Motion detectors •Door contacts •Control panel with 24-hour backup battery Characteristics: a.Programmable for fire, burglary, personal emergencies or other operation b.Large easy-to-use keypad c.Illuminating keys/backlit display d.Fully compatible with all other supplied security equipment e.System status displayed in fixed English and system functions clearly labeled f.Separate device from control panel g.Audible beeps to indicate - System status - Entry/exit delay - Other alarm situations •24/7 monitoring and notification
