The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a long block brand name Komatsu Model# SA6D140-1 diesel engine. This engine will be installed by Government personnel as a direct replacement for a Komatsu engine powering a generator set on the Quarters Barge Taggatz. The engine on one of the two generator sets powering the Taggatz has failed beyond repair. This is a marine application, keel cooled engine that is a direct replacement for the Komatsu engine on the generator set that failed. The engine supplied shall be complete, zero hour, Komatsu moded # SA6D140-1. The engine shall either be new, or zero-hour remanufactured. Vendor shall be responsible for shipment of the engine, FOB Destination. Engine shall have a 30 day warranty.
