Apache Alert Mission Complex
The US Army Corps of Engineers anticipates a Design-Bid-Build contract for construction of facilities to support the Apache Alert Mission at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait. Scope includes alert shelters, logistics, maintenance, security, POL, fire water, munitions, electrical substations, utilities, airfield pavement, and several optional facilities, all phased to maintain uninterrupted operations. The contract will be awarded via Best Value Trade-Off, with no small business set-aside since work is outside the continental US. The anticipated period of performance is 1,355 calendar days from notice to proceed. The RFP will be issued on SAM.GOV, and this is only a pre-solicitation notice requiring no response.
