The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is issuing this Sources Sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to support the procurement of spare parts for the Syncrolift located at the Ras El Tin Naval Base in Alexandria, Egypt. The list of anticipated parts to be procured is located in a separate attachment titled “Appendix A”. This is a Sources Sought for Market Research purposes ONLY. This is not an Invitation for Bid, Request for Proposal, or Solicitation. As a result of this Sources Sought, the US Government will have a better understanding of industries capabilities in procuring these items. Interested Vendors are also welcomed to advise if any of the noted equipment parts are obsolete and have been replaced by new parts numbers. These new part numbers, if any, shall be included in the vendor’s Statement of Capability (SOC) along with the appropriate technical data. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions.
