The scope of this project is limited to an “in-kind” replacement and renovation of existing structural, mechanical, electrical, civil features and equipment of the pump station. Note: FEMA funds will replace the pumps and motor engines. Therefore, the existing pumping units do not require replacement. Work Location: The work shall be performed in Cairo, IL ( Alexander County). The exact location will be indicated on the contract drawings. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a Small Business Size Standard of $45 million. Acquisition Strategy: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District (MVM) proposes to advertise this project as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. Award will be made to the responsible bidder with the lowest evaluated price.
