AMENDMENT 0001 - Proposal response date extended to 11 MAR 2022. The Memphis District, Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP), to acquire a base of 25,000 squares of articulated concrete mattress (ACM) with an option to acquire an additional 25,000 squares of articulated concrete mattress. The ACM will not be cast at the required delivery location, but instead will be at a location proposed by the offeror and approved by the Government. These squares shall be cast using the dimensional tolerances as read in these specifications in Section E, Paragraph 6 ACCEPTANCE and as seen on Drawing No. 3 and 4. The Government will provide the Contractor with a base of 25,000 units of wire mesh and an additional 25,000 units of wire mesh as needed if the additional option of 25,000 squares of ACM is exercised. The solicitation number is W912EQ22R0004 and is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The work to be performed under this contract consist of furnishing all plant, materials (except materials specified herein to be furnished by the Government), equipment, supplies, labor, transportation, including fuel, power, water, and performing all work as required in the casting square of articulated concrete mattress at the location and in the quantity provided in the solicitation, in strict accordance with the specifications, schedule, and drawings, all of which are made a part thereof, and including such detail drawings as may be furnished by the Contracting Officer during the prosecution of the work. The Government may exercise an option to in the base and option quantity not to exceed 15 percent. The value of the proposed work is from $10,000,000.00 to $15,000,000.00. Solicitation, plans and specifications will be on the System of Award Management (SAM) website https://sam.gov/content/home on or after 05 January 2022. Offerors may register on the Interested Vendor’s List (IVL) on SAM. Compact disc and hardcopies will not allowed. All documents required for proposal submittal, including amendment, shall be included. It is the offeror’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their proposal before the due date.
