12/12/19: This update adds amendment 1 and the questions and answers from the 12/3/19 site visit. Offerors must acknowledge and submit a signed amendment with their quote. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Memphis District has a requirement for a vendor to dry-dock and effect repairs on the Dredge Hurley, and Alaskan Crane Barge 8501. The Government shall deliver the vessel to the contractor at his location after written notification of award from the Contracting Officer and the contractor will provide the services: blast and coat potable water tanks, clean sea chest and replace sea chest covers, replace MSD system, replace 60-ton chiller, replace/upgrade 30-ton chiller with a 60-ton chiller, repair Alaskan Crane Barge spud well, and clean fuel tanks. Anticipated period of performance is 90-days after receipt of vessel. SITE VISIT. It is highly recommended potential offerors attend the scheduled site visit prior to submitting a quote. The site visit will be 3 Dec 2019 at 9:00 am CST. The meeting place will be 7150 River Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70820. Interested parties may email their name and company information to Christopher White, Contract Specialist at Christopher.P.White@usace.army.mil, no later than 2 Dec 2019 at 2:00 pm CST. The contract specialist will provide additional details to interested parties after receipt of timely notification.
