The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor and materials for clearing & snagging, top bank shaping, channel excavation, disposal of excavated materials, and seeding & mulching for Ditch 251 (Unimproved) Cleanout and any incidental related work according to the specifications and plans. The project limits are CL STA 2+13 to STA 1129+63 as shown on the plans. The work shall be divided into phases: Base Contract: CL STA 2+13 to STA 341+71 - Clearing & Snagging and Channel Cleanout. Option 1: CL STA 341+71 to STA 886+75 - Clearing & Snagging. Option 2: CL STA 341+71 to STA 886+75 - Channel Cleanout Option 3: CL STA 886+75 to STA 1129+63 - Clearing & Snagging Option 4: CL STA 886+75 to STA 1129+63 - Channel Cleanout. Prior to construction completion of the Base Contract, determination will be made whether to award either Option 1 or Options 1 and 2. Prior to construction completion of Option 1 (or Options 1 and 2), determination will made whether to award either Option 3 or Options 3 and 4.This project is being advertised as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside procurement utilizing sealed bid procedures. The work shall be located in Dunklin &Pemiscot Counties, Missouri, within the Little River Floodway. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. For the purpose of this procurement to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $36.5 million. The estimated value of the work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
