The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for Replacing GE Drives (7) on Dredge Hurley. 1. CONTRACT INFORMATION: This pre-solicitation notice is for interested firms to submit their proposal/SF1449 in accordance with the solicitation and closing date. Firms will be selected for review based on evaluation criteria. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). The proposed procurement listed herein will be advertised as Unrestricted therefore, small and large businesses will be considered. Supplies/Services to be procured under this announcement are classified in North American Industry Classification System Code as 335314. It is the district's intent to award one (1) contract to the qualified business. Requirement will be accomplished under this Firm Fixed Price Type Contract with a performance period not to exceed March 30, 2019. 2. PROJECT INFORMATION: Contractor is required to provide supplies/services to satisfy this requirement for the USACE Memphis District. The performance required under this contract consist of replacing the Dredge Hurley's obsolete control equipment, removing the existing seven (7) General Electric Drives, and providing a new functional control replacement system to drive motors without changing the current operation of the dredge. 1. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Interested firms having the capabilities for this work must provide your submittal in accordance to solicitation W912EQ-19-R-0004 instructions. A copy of solicitation may be downloaded from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Site https://fbo.gov on or about February 8, 2019. Response to the solicitation must be received via email, or delivered by date and time indicated on solicitation; regardless of method of delivery, it is the offeror's responsibility to ensure receipt of proposal by the time and date stated therein. Proposal should be marked with solicitation number W912EQ-19-R-0004 addressed to USACE Memphis District, Contracting Division, ATTN: Valerie Marshall, 167 N. Main St., Room 665, Memphis, Tennessee, 38103; Phone (901) 544-3619. Include both the solicitation number and your company DUNs number on all submittals. Vendors not registered in SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) database prior to award will not be eligible for award. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, all vendors shall be registered in SAM prior to bid. Vendors must also be registered in Representations and Certifications Applications (included in SAM). Vendors may register for SAM by calling 1-866-606-8220 or register online at www.sam.gov. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable (335314 listed above) to this acquisition must be in vendor's SAM registration. Note: Update SAM profile to include all applicable NAICS Codes associated with your company.
