Project Description: The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor and materials for construction of approximately 5 miles of degrading an existing levee on the north bank of Belle Fountain Ditch and the construction of the corresponding 5 miles of Elk Chute Levee with associated berms and ditches. Construction also includes the construction of four single, double and triple barrel cast in place reinforced concrete box culverts and two 42-inch precast reinforced concrete pipe culverts with associated gates and any incidental related work according to the specifications and plans. This project shall include: St Francis Basin Maintenance, Elk Chute Levee Setback, Elk Chute Drainage District and Dunklin County, CO. Location: The work shall be located at a the segment beginning at the intersection of MO-TT and Belle Fountain Ditch and extends to the west to the north-south reach of Elk Chute Levee adjacent to Little River floodway north of Gosnell, Arkansas, approximately as indicated. The exact location will be indicated on future contract drawings.
