Sources Sought – Market Capability Survey Title of Work: Supply Contract for 50 Ton Travel Hoist Lift The US Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, is seeking capability statements from all sources with the capabilities and experience to perform the following work: Project Description: The Government is seeking qualified and experienced sources capable of providing and delivering 6 new mobile 50 Ton Travel Hoist Lifts capable of handling 54,320 lbs. + weight of custom frame. North American Industry Classification System: 333923 Small Business Size Standard: 1,250 EMP Acquisition Strategy: The acquisition strategy to be determined after analysis of responses. Pricing is Firm Fixed Price. Work Location: Delivery will be to the following address and can be completed by truck or barge: 7609 Richardson Landing Rd Drummonds, TN 38023 Requirement: The government is looking seeking for capable contractors that can produce and deliver 6 new mobile 50 Ton Hoist Lifts capable of handling 54,320 lbs. + weight of custom frame. Mobility Requirements: Mobile Hoist Lift shall have maximum speed under full load of at least 200 ft/min Control Requirements: Mobile Hoist Lift shall have drive by wire capability such that each degree of freedom can be controlled by a controller located either on the vehicle or remotely via CANbus communication signals. Mobile Hoist Lift shall have fail safe braking mechanisms incorporated. Support Frame Requirements: Mobile Hoist Lift shall have a support structure that is capable of holding a lifting frame and load that has physical dimensions of at least 6ft wide by 30ft long. The height of the lifted load to be supported will be at least 42” plus the height of custom frame. The support frame must be able to be moved in all X/Y/Z directions At least 4x the width of lifted load At least 0.25 the length of lifted load Lifted height dependent on size of custom frame (minimum 3-feet) Environmental Conditions The Mobile Hoist Lift shall be able to operate in temperatures ranging –XX to +XX without harm to any components The Mobile Hoist Lift shall be able to be stored at temperatures ranging from –YY to +ZZ without harm to any components The Mobile Hoist Lift must be able to operate in heavy rain and snow Interested firms should submit a capabilities package to include the following: Firm’s name, address, point of contact, phone number and e-mail address.
