This project involves maintenance dredging of the Federal navigation channel and berthing areas at Port Everglades, with a base (Federal) option and an Option A (non-Federal) for local sponsor berths. Dredged material will be disposed of at the Port Everglades Ocean Dredge Material Disposal Site, and work includes environmental monitoring and traffic maintenance. The target budget is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000, and the period of performance is 125 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed (NTP), with work starting within 60 days of NTP. Coast Guard certified dredge vessels are required, and the procurement is unrestricted. Performance will occur at Port Everglades, Florida.
