Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Maintenance Dredging, Entrance Channel, Camden County, Georgia and Nassau County, Florida
Maintenance dredging of the Kings Bay Entrance Channel (Cut-1N through Range-E) will distribute excavated material among the Fernandina Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site, Fernandina Nearshore, Fort Clinch, and North Beach placement areas. Incidental work includes environmental and water quality monitoring, vibration monitoring, beach fill quality control, beach tilling, sea turtle and sturgeon trawling, and interim mobilization/demobilization for cutter-suction dredges. Optional work includes debris removal at Fort Clinch and beach tilling from FDEP Monument R-019 to R-029. The performance period is 185 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, with work commencing within 60 days of NTP. The target price range is between $20,000,000 and $30,000,000, with work performed in the Kings Bay/Fernandina Beach, Florida area.
