The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will award a single firm fixed-price contract to renourish approximately 5.5 miles of beach and dune along Anna Maria Island in Manatee County, Florida, including a base segment and an optional segment, with dune vegetation planting and dredging from offshore borrow areas. The estimated construction magnitude is between $25,000,000 and $35,000,000, and the solicitation is unrestricted, requiring U.S. Coast Guard certified dredge equipment. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for 22 July 2026, and a virtual pre-bid conference for 23 July 2026; work must commence within 60 calendar days of notice to proceed and be completed within 240 calendar days.
