DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project will renourish the shoreline in Palm Beach County, between Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Range Monuments R-92.1 and R-102. The project includes construction of a beach berm. The sand for the project will be sourced from a combination of borrow sources in the area, Palm Beach Harbor Entrance Channel and Settling Basins, Northern Borrow Area 1, and Northern Borrow Area 2. Palm Beach Harbor Entrance Channel and Settling Basins and Northern Borrow Area 2 are approximately 4 nautical miles from the midpoint of the project fill area. Northern Borrow Area 1 is approximately 5 nautical miles from the midpoint of the project fill area. Work also includes but is not limited to environmental species monitoring, turbidity monitoring, beach tilling, beach fill quality control, screening, and vibration control and monitoring. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 19 September 2025 and bids will be due on or about 20 October 2025. NAICS Code 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities. The Small Business Standard is $37 million The Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. The period of performance associated with this requirement is: 150 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contractor shall commence work within 60 calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). THIS PROCUREMENT IS AN UNRESTRICTED REQUIREMENT. NOTE: U.S. COAST GUARD CERTIFIED DREDGE EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE WORK.
