DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project consists of maintenance dredging at the Marine Corps Support Facility - Blount Island (MCSF-BI) from Station 0+00 to Station 56+09.1 with a 38-foot required Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) maintenance depth plus two feet of allowable overdepth as shown on the drawings. The placement location of the dredged material will be Dayson Island Disposal Area (D/A-D) as shown on the drawings. Additional work also includes environmental monitoring, turbidity and disposal monitoring, standby time, and partnering regroup. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 28 May 2025 and bids will be due on or about 27 June 2025. The project estimated period of performance is as follows: Commence work no later than (NLT) 60 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) and complete work NLT 120 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). Estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities. Small Business Size Standard is $37.0 million. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION. ALL RESPONSIBLE SMALL BUSINESS CONTRACTORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. NOTE: NAICS code 237990—Dredging: To be considered small for purposes of Government procurement, a firm must perform at least 40 percent of the volume dredged with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern.
