A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Monday, 18 April 2022 from 10:00am – 11:00am, Local Time via web-ex @ https://usace1.webex.com/meet/timothy.g.humphrey. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project work consists of a base and two options. The base work includes maintenance dredging the locations shown on the drawings within Egmont Cut-1, Egmont Cut-2, Mullet Key and Cut-A (TB). Option A work includes maintenance dredging the locations shown on the drawings within Egmont Cut-1 from station 122+00 to 368+00. Option B work includes maintenance dredging the locations shown on the drawings within Egmont Cut-1 from station 368+00 to 460+00. All dredging areas will incorporate 2 feet of allowable overdepth. Dredged material will be placed in the designated beach disposal area on Egmont Key. Additional work includes turbidity monitoring, sea turtle trawl sweeping and relocation, environmental, vibration monitoring, species observation, and beach tilling. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about April 4, 2022, and bids will be due on or about May 4, 2022 NAICS Code 237990, size standard $30.0 million. Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The contractor shall begin performance within 60 calendar days and complete performance within 185 calendar days after the NTP to include 135 calendar days for the Base (including 60 Calendar Day Commencement), 10 calendar days for Option A and 40 Calendar Days for Option B. The performance period is mandatory. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION. ALL RESPONSIBLE OFFERORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. NOTES: FAR Clause 52.219-9 Small Business Subcontracting Plan will be included in the solicitation and resulting contract. To be considered small for the purposes of this Government procurement, a firm must perform/dredge, with its own equipment or equipment owned by another Small Business concern, at least 40 percent of the volume dredged. In accordance with FAR 19.1309(b)(1), FAR Clause 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation for HUBZone Small Business Concerns, will be included in the Solicitation and resulting Contract.
