The Jacksonville District Contracting Division has a requirement from the Military and Interagency and International Services (IIS) Branch to provide a request for proposal for a single award of a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) using competitive procedures. This single award FFP Contract is issued to obtain design-build services for a new proposed landscaping. In addition to the new building construction, work includes demolition and remodeling of rooms inside the existing Building 12 Andres Toro. All aspects of the design and construction shall be signed and sealed by a Registered Professional Architect, Registered Professional Engineer, or other Registered Professional for the discipline District Office building (Toro 2 Annex). This project is a turnkey design-build contract. The Contractor shall be responsible for the full design and construction of the new annex building, commissioning, site work, and of the work required. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) project to design and build an administration building located at the FDA facility in San Juan, Puerto Rico does involve utilities connections and relocations on-site that will tie into existing infrastructure on-site of the facility. The utilities work associated with the contract are part of the design and are being fully coordinated with the FDA. The project occurs on federal property. Period of Performance is 864 days after Notice to Proceed. The NAICS Code is 236220 and the size standard $39.5 million. This is an 8(a) competitive solicitation and all responsible 8(a) offerors are encouraged to participate. The magnitude of construction for this single award FFP contract is estimated to be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.
