CSII is located east of Cape Canaveral, and is centered approximately 4.5 miles offshore of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) and 8 miles east of Port Canaveral. CSII is approximately 1,233 acres with existing depths ranging from -11 to -42 feet referencing Mean Low Water (MLW). Incidental work at the placement area includes beach tilling, turbidity monitoring, vibration control monitoring, bird monitoring, sea turtle trawler and sweeping, and endangered species monitoring. The solicitation will consist of a Base and Option A and Option B.
