This project consists of excavating material out of the Manatee Harbor Dredge Material Management Area (DMMA) located in Manatee County, Florida. The material shall be transported approximately 7.5 miles south to the Washington Park Placement Site. Project work consists of using the excavated material to construct a haul road in Washington Park with a finished crest elevation of 18.6 feet. Material from the DMMA shall then be placed in the fill template at the southern end of the haul road. The placed material shall be surrounded by a perimeter silt fence. Project work also includes clearing and grubbing, seeding, installation of drainage structures and slope protection features, and environmental monitoring. The project will have an estimated period of performance of 365 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Washington Park Placement Site is located east of a railroad, south of 39th St. E., west of 8th Ave. E. and north of 30th St. E. situated in Palmetto, Florida. The Contract Performance Period is 365 calendar days after issuance of the Notice To Proceed (NTP). PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 22 July 2020 and bids will be due on or about 21 August 2020. NAICS Code 237990, size standard $39.5 million.
