DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project work involves maintenance dredging of the Fernandina Harbor Cut-1 station 0+00 through Cut-6 station 9+00 and Turning Basin. The excavated material will be transported to and placed in the Fernandina Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS). Work also includes turbidity monitoring, endangered species observers (hopper dredges only), sea turtle trawl-sweeping (hopper dredges only), and marine animal observer (clamshell dredges only). PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 22 July 2020 and bids will be due on or about 21 August 2020. NAICS Code 237990, size standard $30.0 million. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION. ALL RESPONSIBLE OFFERORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE.
