W912EP19D0014 The award of the task order will be made on the basis of the Lowest Price, Technical Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation method. This project is located on the southwest side of Lake Okeechobee between HHD culvert structure S-279 and Moore Haven in Glades County, Florida. The work includes constructing 5.2 miles of cutoff walls in Reach 2 (Segments 6 and 7) of the Herbert Hoover Dike (HHD) embankment from Structure S-279 to Moore Haven. Work is divided into two phases as follows: Phase 1. The limits of construction are from Station 3980+50 to Station 3986+50 to allow for Construction and removal of the construction platform. Cutoff wall construction is from Station 3981+00 to Station 3986+00 (Demonstration Section). Phase 2. The limits of construction are from Station 3720+00 to Station 3999+90 to allow for construction and removal of the construction platform. Cutoff wall construction is from Station 3720+91 to Station 3981+00 and Station 3986+00 to Station 3998+92. Magnitude of construction is between $75,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00. The NAICS Code 237990, size standard $36.5 million. The request for proposal will be issued on or about 07 June 2019 and proposals will be due on or about 09 July 2019. The request for proposal will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (Fed Biz Opps) at https://www.fbo.gov.
